Introduction:

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program is an integral element of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). BISP launched as a pilot program in five districts before expanding to 100 by 2020 due to its successful results, alleviating the financial burden of education for underprivileged families while decreasing dropout rates and encouraging school enrollment. This initiative seeks to ease financial strain for low-income families while encouraging educational enrolment among children from low-income households across Pakistan.
